I had purchased the game from the Steam store, it plays, it can run on my computer fine, but the problem I encounter every time I've tried it is that one the first mission, before you even get to the tower, the rope is not being thrown down for me to climb. of what I know no one else is having this issue, I've not found any forums or posts about it, only ones that you can't climb up the rope, my problem is that the mission is broken, the person at the top of the cliff just repeats the waving animation, and never throws the rope down, I've not found any fixes or anyone else that has encountered this problem and it's really frustrating me. I uninstalled it from Steam and am trying to reinstall it on the Ubisoft store but it doesn't recognize that I have purchased the game from steam, tried downloading it from the Uplay App and it just tries to redownload it from steam, I can't even turn steam into offline mode for some reason, it just quits out as soon as I select the 'restart in offline mode' or the 'start in offline mode' and I have no clue what i'm supposed to do now. i'm going to see if this time steam's download will work but I doubt it will. if it does I will edit this or comment on this post to clarify that it's working. but if not I could really use some technical support from the devs or anyone who knows this problem or can help me get around it.
(I have one idea to get around it, but I don't like the idea, that is to download a save game from the web and load that up so I can skip that part, but I want to play the game how it is meant to be played. if my efforts have no effect then i'll reconsider the save game option, but if that doesn't work still, then I guess my only choice is to wait for someone or contact Ubisoft support . . .)
Far Cry 4 Poker App
There is actually a poker app you can get where you earn money and send it over to Far Cry 4. If you haven't done that, any chance you edited rupee values in Cheatengine or the like? I did this myself in postgame and given I put in a value that far exceeded the wallet size, I think I unintentionally tricked the game into thinking I had a massive amount of money from that app which I never downloaded. Nov 18, 2014 As far as companion (or tie-in) apps go, I actually kind of like Far Cry 4 Arcade Poker. It seems like a fun game, even if you’re not going to be buying the new Far Cry. If you want to check it out for yourself, it’s in the App Store for free—just watch out for the IAPs. Last week, Ubisoft released a companion app for Assassin’s Creed.
